CVE-2026-122323
High CVSS 7.5Published 2026-11-05 ยท last changed 2026-11-05
The fix
We hold no Microsoft remediation data for CVE-2026-122323, which normally means it is not a Windows CVE. For non-Microsoft software the fix is the vendor's own updated release, and the affected versions are listed below.
What it is
Kyverno from 1.11.0 before 1.19.2 contains an unbounded decompression vulnerability in FetchSignatureBlob that allows attackers to exhaust memory by supplying highly compressed notary signature layers. Attackers who control registry referrers or signatures can publish small gzip layers that decompress beyond maxPayloadSize, causing admission controller OOM kills and denial of service.
