Medium CVSS 5.8

Published 2026-11-04 ยท last changed 2026-11-04

The fix

We hold no Microsoft remediation data for CVE-2026-122140, which normally means it is not a Windows CVE. For non-Microsoft software the fix is the vendor's own updated release, and the affected versions are listed below.

What it is

Trawl 1.5.0 before 1.10.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass the MCP outbound URL policy using IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses. Attackers can supply hex-normalized addresses like ::ffff:7f00:1 directly or via redirects to fetch loopback, private, and cloud metadata services and read responses.
